Sunapee, New Hampshire -

A previous big loss at Woodsville of 3-1 earlier in the season was disappointing; however, the Lakers were able to redeem themselves and earn a 0-0 tie in double-overtime on senior night. The night was particularly a special night as the team recognized twelve seniors. Striker Reece Williams, striker Vincent Borelli, outside-halfback Jack Holobowicz, outside-halfback Nick Gallant, center mid Matthew Tschudin, defensive mid Samuel Flint, outside-back Deklan Pierce, center back Cameron Messenger, center back Conner Ryba, goalie Jonah Flint, and both managers Brady Ohi and Ryan Rechisky were recognized prior to the game.
After the Senior celebration,  the game was off to a quick start. Intense battles were demonstrated  all over the field, and  Dekaln Pierce had an outstanding game controlling the defensive side and winning what seemed like every ball. The Lakers were able to find many opportunities from free kicks and through balls. The Lakers were able to put more shots on goal than their opponent in the first half, but they couldn't find the back of the net. Just fifteen minutes into the second, Woodsville had the best scoring opportunity of the game when a foul in the box was called against Sunapee which led to a penalty kick. Sunapee goaltender, Jonah Flint made a huge save on the penalty kick and the score remained tied. Shots from both teams were pummeled at the goalies, and Flint did an amazing job saving every ball that headed his way. Samuel Flint did a great job covering the middle of the field and took on every 50/50 ball that came toward him. When he won the ball, the Lakers were able to move forward. After a scoreless second half, the Lakers and Engineers headed into two separated overtime periods where neither team could find that one goal.
